أقيمت سلسلة فعاليات أسبوع عمان للاستدامة في الفترة ما بين 12 - 16 مارس 2023 في مركز عمان للمؤتمرات والمعارض، وتمت دعوة الرئيس التنفيذي لجمعية المصارف العمانية في 14 مارس 2023 للمشاركة في حلقة النقاش من قبل إيكونوميست إمباكت حول موضوع الرقمنة والابتكار في التمويل الأخضر/المستدام، كما حضر فريق جمعية المصارف العمانية هذه الفعالية.

حضرت مديرة مكتب وأكاديمية جمعية المصارف العمانية هذه الفعالية التي نظمها بنك نزوى بتاريخ 20 مارس 2023 في فندق شيراتون مسقط، وأقيمت الفعالية التي أقرت بجهود المرأة الملهمة في صنعة التمويل الإسلامي حول العالم تحت رعاية سمو الدكتورة منى فهد آل سعيد، نائبة رئيس جامعة السلطان قابوس.

On 16th January 2024, the Oman Banks Association in collaboration with Gartner organized a one-day event attended by OBA Chairman Mr. Abdul Hakeem Al Ojaili, OBA's Banking Technology Committee, Operations Committee, and senior bankers

The Bowling tournament held its 4-day tournament on the 19th 21st 26th and 28th of February 2024, witnessing a strong competition between the 13 participating banks. The annual sports event is a part of the Oman Banks Association’s drive to promote various types of sports and encourage the banking community to participate in recreational activities, strengthen relationships, and build better ties within the banking community.

The Oman Banks Association (OBA) celebrates Global Money week (21st to the 26th of April 2024) by promoting financial literacy and inclusion among its youth. Through this campaign, OBA’s goal is to spread the required knowledge and skills to society on how to make financial decisions and navigate through the modern economy by conducting a series of engaging activities and initiatives.

In collaboration with the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and under the series of Arab Financial Inclusion campaigns OBA hosted a session in Sohar on the 24th of July 2024.

The first session was held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in the lecture room at Sultan Qaboos Complex Youth Culture & Entertainment. The session focused on providing solutions for SME owners to thrive beyond the Khareef season and help them sustain their business all year round.
