Arab Financial Inclusion Day 2018

The Oman Banks Association organised a seminar on Thursday 26th April 2018, at Bank Muscat Head Office. The event was attended by a group of students representing universities and colleges in the Sultanate.

The Chief Executive Officer of OBA, Ali Hassan Moosa, spoke about the importance of financial inclusion to maintain financial stability, economic growth, social stability, and the creation of jobs opportunities in the society.

Manager of banking credit and Statistical Data Department at the Central Bank of Oman, presented the credit registry at the banking sector, and its usage by banks.

The event was concluded with a panel of discussion that was moderated by Ali Hassan Moosa, CEO of Oman Banks Association, Mr. Fawzi Al Kiyoumi and Adil Al Saadi from the Central Bank of Oman, Mr. Majid Al Kiyoumi from form the Capital Market Authority, Ms. Zalia Al Balushi form Ahli Bank, Mr. Jamil Al Zadjali from Al Yusr Islamic Bank, and Mr. Sami Bait Rashid from Meethaq Islamic Bank.
